Responsibilities
- Process and assemble electromechanical products for Power and Actuation Systems brushless dc motor applications
- Conduct and assist in the assembly and test of production hardware and subassemblies, in accordance with mechanical drawings, work instructions, routings, and other written and/or verbal specifications
- Solder, crimp, and assemble critical electronic systems
- Operate in accordance with Company ESD policies
- Set up and operate tools and equipment required for assembly and testing
- Conduct function testing, troubleshoot, rework, and document results
- Maintain accurate parts and part count and documentation for each job
- Identify causes for test failures and perform requested rework with limited supervision
- Document and support Lean ideas to improve company efficiencies
- Absorb and comply with safety, quality, housekeeping, and company policies/procedures
- Participate in team meetings, improvement initiatives/programs, and support actions to drive company initiatives/goals
- Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment through effective communication at all levels
- Assume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned
- Ensure work area is clean, secure, and well maintained
- Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated mechanical/technical aptitude and abilities to conduct functional tests
- Ability to understand and work with blueprint drawings
- Detail-oriented, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow procedures
- Effective verbal/written communication skills required for interacting with all levels of personnel within the organization
- Computer literate, with MS Office experience and basic PC skills
- Must be a US Citizen

- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills
- Basic computer literacy and MS Office experience

Pay
The pay range for this position is $23.75 - $28.00 per hour. The final salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, experience, and internal consistency.
Schedule
This is a full-time position. Overtime and weekend work may be required, as job duties demand. Some travel may be required for this position (5-10%).
Physical Requirements
- Regular exposure to conditions typical of a manufacturing/machine shop environment, including fluids, fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, noise and vibration
- Exposure to abrasive chemicals
- Standing at length, sitting, walking, stooping, bending, turning, balancing, and/or crouching
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or moving items weighing up to 45 pounds
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to conditions typical of a manufacturing/machine shop environment, including, but not limited to: fluids, fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, noise and vibration. This position entails constant exposure to abrasive chemicals. This job interacts both in a professional office environment and a manufacturing/machine shop environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, as well as environments inclusive of the appropriate eye, hearing and foot protection (as required).
