Work hours are 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Friday – Sunday, with Monday overtime as necessary. This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position.
Schedule
- Friday – Sunday: 5:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Overtime as needed: Monday 5:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Manual assembly of small components (with training)
- Standing up to twelve (12) hours or sitting for up to three (3) hours while operating machines or equipment
- Use of measuring tools including calipers, indicators, meters, and gages (with training)
- Construction and interpretation, using manual or computerized methods, of statistical quality control charts (with training)
- Packaging and lifting up to fifty (50) pounds
- Operation of hydraulic test systems (with training)
- Completion of routine shop paperwork, including basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Light machine maintenance, including oiling, cleaning, and setup (with training)
- General housekeeping
- Use of loctites, epoxies, and other manufacturing materials
- Other assigned duties
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Able and willing to work overtime hours as needed

About the role
FEMA Corporation has entry-level openings available for the weekend shift in its Production Department. Operators work on teams assembling, testing, and packaging hydraulic valves on various production lines in a temperature-controlled environment. No experience is necessary.
