Assembly Technicians - Night Shift

Bright Machines · Florence, KY · 3 wk ago
On-siteManagement$22–$26/hrContract
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role (already present), Responsibilities (What You Will Be Doing), Requirements/Qualifications (What We Want To See), Pay (the $22 - $26 an hour plus shift differential), maybe Benefits? Not present. Schedule? Not present. So we include sections for About the role, Responsibilities? Actually "About The Role" heading. Use

for each section heading. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use

for prose. We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID. Remove boilerplate etc. We need to preserve all substantive info. So include the description paragraphs. Let's parse content: Intro paragraph: "RETHINK MANUFACTURING The only way to ignite change is to build the best team. At Bright Machines®, we’re innovators and experts in our craft who have joined together to manufacture the AI and data center infrastructure at the edge. We believe unifying software, intelligent automation, and data is the answer to delivering quality and flexibility at scale. We deliver products to meet the demands of today while continuously investing in our Bright Factory model to take advantage of what comes next. Working with us means you’ll have the opportunity to make lasting, impactful changes for our company and our customers. If you’re ready to apply your exceptional skills to a brighter way of manufacturing AI infrastructure, we’d love to speak with you." That's a prose paragraph; we can include as

before sections. Then "About The Role" heading. Then paragraph: "Bright Machines is on a mission to transform how electronics are made—bringing intelligence, scalability, and flexibility to the factory floor. We combine the best of automation, machine learning, and software to modernize manufacturing from the ground up. We are looking for an Automated Assembly Operator to join our team. An Assembly Technician at Bright Machines plays an important role in keeping our automated server assembly lines running safely, efficiently, and with consistent quality. They work where automation and hands-on work meet, supporting robotic cells, production equipment, and assembly steps that build complex server components for our customers. In this role, the Assembly Operator prepares materials, monitors automated systems, performs visual and functional checks, and ensures each unit meets Bright Machines’ quality standards. The job combines manual tasks with routine oversight of automated equipment to keep production moving smoothly." That's prose; we can put in

. Then "What You Will Be Doing" heading. Then a list of duties each line ends with period. Should be

    • each. Then "What We Want To See" heading. Then list of requirements each line ends with period. Should be
      • . Then pay: "$22 - $26 an hour We also include a 20% shift differential for the night shift". That's pay info. Should be a section

        Pay

        with

containing that sentence. Then after that there is "BE EMPOWERED TO CHANGE AN INDUSTRY" heading? Actually it's a heading but we should treat as maybe a section? It contains descriptive paragraphs about company. Could be considered "About the Company" but not requested headings list includes About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We could put that descriptive content under maybe "About the Company" but not in list; but we could omit as not required? The instruction: "include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text". It didn't forbid adding other sections not in list, but they said "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." That suggests we can use those headings; but we could also add other headings if needed? Probably better to stick to those. The "BE EMPOWERED TO CHANGE AN INDUSTRY" is more about company; could be considered part of About the role? But we already have About the role. Could incorporate that paragraph into About the role section as additional prose. However the instruction: "Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) and do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it." It doesn't forbid adding extra headings beyond those examples, but they gave examples. Safer to include only those sections that have content. The company description could be placed under About the role as extra prose, or we could create a separate section like "About the Company" but not in the list; risk of being considered unnecessary. I'd incorporate it into About the role paragraph. Thus final HTML:

        Intro paragraph...

        About the Role

        ...

        Responsibilities

        • Operate, monitor, and support automated assembly systems, including robotics, vision systems, conveyors, and workcells.
        • Load and unload components and materials according to standardized work instructions.
        • Respond to machine alarms and stoppages, performing basic troubleshooting and escalating complex issues to technicians or engineering.
        • Verify machine programs, setups, tooling, and fixtures prior to production start.
        • Conduct in-process inspections (visual, torque, fit, alignment, labeling) to ensure quality standards are met.
        • Use MES and digital tools to confirm process steps and record production data.
        • Document defects, deviations, and trends; escalate issues to Quality or shift leadership.
        • Perform basic rework within defined tolerances and procedures.
        • Stage, replenish, and scan materials to maintain continuous flow through automated stations.
        • Track components using ERP, MES, and RF scanning systems; follow FIFO, traceability, and lot-control requirements.
        • Maintain a safe work environment and comply with EHS requirements for automation and robotics.
        • Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance, including sensor cleaning, feeder checks, and alignment verification.
        • Maintain 5S standards around automated work cells to prevent downtime and quality issues.
        • Collaborate with Automation Technicians, Process Engineers, and Quality teams to support production flow.
        • Provide feedback on system performance, cycle times, and recurring stoppages to improve automation reliability.
        • Participate in problem-solving efforts and escalate root-cause insights as needed.

        Requirements

        • High school diploma or equivalent required.
        • Previous experience in automated or semi-automated manufacturing preferred (electronics, precision assembly, automotive, medical devices, etc.).
        • Familiarity with robotics-assisted or software-controlled production lines is a plus.
        • Ability to read work instructions, visual diagrams, and digital work orders.
        • Comfortable using computers, tablets, and MES/ERP systems.
        • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or robotic systems is helpful but not required.
        • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
        • Ability to follow multi-step procedures accurately and consistently.
        • Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
        • Ability to recognize abnormal machine behavior and report issues promptly.
        • Comfortable standing, lifting, and performing repetitive/precision tasks.
        • Technical training or certifications in automation, mechatronics, electronics, or manufacturing operations preferred.

        Pay

$22 - $26 an hour. We also include a 20% shift differential for the night shift.

We might also include a brief paragraph about company after About the role? Could add as another

inside About the role? Actually we already have About the role paragraph; we could append the company description after that paragraph within same section. But the instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So we could combine company description into About the role section as extra paragraph. Thus About the role section will have two

paragraphs: first the mission description, second the company description (BE EMPOWERED...). Let's extract that company description: "BE EMPOWERED TO CHANGE AN INDUSTRY Bright Machines is a next-generation, AI-enabled manufacturer focused on data center infrastructure production . Bright Machines uses its proprietary AI-based robotics and software to assemble AI infrastructure hardware products (i.e., data center servers) for hyperscalers , neoclouds, and leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to reduce their time to revenue. With its Bright Factory model , Bright Machines builds higher quality data center infrastructure at scale, addresses increasing market demands for computing power due to the surge of AI , and answers the call to the U.S. national mandate to reshore manufacturing . Bright Machines is headquartered in San Francisco, California, with an integration center in Guadalajara, Mexico. The company has been recognized as one of Forbes’ AI 50, awarded “Best AI-based Solution for Manufacturing” by AI Breakthrough, named a “Technology Pioneer” by the World Economic Forum, and highlighted by several other leading technology and innovation organizations." We need to clean extra spaces. We'll make a paragraph. Thus About the role section:

Now the intro paragraph before sections: The initial "RETHINK MANUFACTURING..." paragraph. We'll include as

at top. Thus final HTML fragment:
