Role Summary
As an Assembly Technician - Workholding, you will complete the final build and verification of Arrow Workholding fixtures so each unit ships ready to perform. This position ensures fit, function, and documentation accuracy at the last stage of production.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble fixtures after inspection sign-off
- Support dimensional and functional checks as needed
- Bend tubing for hydraulic/pneumatic components and complete precise fit-up to prints
- Use a knee mill, surface grinder, and lathe to adjust, rework, and bring parts to tolerance
- Redline drawings to communicate corrections and model updates to Engineering
- Conduct functional testing (cycle tests, clamping force, leak checks where applicable)
Required qualifications/skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2–4 years in precision assembly, fixture build, or machining preferred
- Ability to read/interpret drawings and schematics; strong communication and problem-solving
- Forklift certification preferred
