About the Role

Performs a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies. Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairs units or products that have failed to meet requirements. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret drawings and schematic diagrams.
  • Assemble, wire, test, and package industrial precision dispensing equipment in accordance with quality, productivity, and safety requirements in a manufacturing environment.
  • Follow applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures.
  • Use hand tools, general power tools, and calibrated power tools to facilitate equipment assembly.
  • Use reference drawings and bills of material to ensure proper assembly of equipment.
  • Use gages, volt meters, and measuring tools to verify dimensions, electrical specifications, and proper alignment.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve product failures.
  • Use a computer to view reference drawings, generate production-related documents, and for other general tasks.
  • Be flexible and able to rotate to different work areas to respond appropriately to changing customer requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical and electronics troubleshooting in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Technical Associate degree preferred.

Working Conditions

Manufacturing environment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual should be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
