About the Role
Assemble finished products and other work as directed by Lead Person or Supervisor. Basic hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical aptitude is helpful. Ability to read blueprints and use various types of measuring devices. Basic computer skills are a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of assembly, working as part of a team, and maintain prompt daily attendance.
- Follow direction from supervision to complete orders in a timely manner.
- Read work orders and understand technical documents required for the job.
- Operate mechanical equipment efficiently and learn all aspects of the job as required.
- Maintain a productive and non-disruptive work ethic, minimizing scrap or rework to improve quality.
- Adhere to all company safety rules and policies as outlined in the safety manual.
- Keep company equipment and work areas clean and orderly.
- Operate all necessary tooling and equipment to fulfill job requirements.
- Strive for continuous improvement in all job-related tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Prior assembly experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and work orders.
- Basic manufacturing background and mechanical aptitude.
- Basic computer skills.
- Exceptional attendance record.
- Ability to climb ladders, sit/stand as needed, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Physical Requirements
- Stand on a concrete floor for the majority of the shift (excluding breaks).
- Lift and/or push up to 50 lbs, typically from floor to waist level (48”).
- Reach and grab parts up to 10 lbs.
- Climb ladders (approximately 5’).
- Perform functions requiring crouching, squatting, kneeling, and occasional crawling.
- Good hand dexterity and balance to operate all necessary equipment.
- Daily use of all five senses to maintain safety for self and the team.
