Assembly Technician
About the role
We build ultra low cost metal 3D printers and run a growing fleet of plastic and metal printers. You will get hands-on time building real machines, learning practical assembly skills, and seeing how a printer goes from a pile of parts to a functioning system. To get a better sense of our mission and who we are, check out this interview of our founder.

- Route and secure cables, connectors, and harnesses cleanly and safely
- Follow build instructions, checklists, and torque specs, and help improve them over time
- Perform basic functional checks (motion, endstops/sensors, fans, heaters, safety interlocks where applicable)
- Troubleshoot assembly issues (fit, alignment, missing hardware, wiring mistakes) and document fixes
- Maintain an organized assembly area, label parts, and track build status per machine
