Assembly Technician

About the role
Product Assemblers play a key role within Flow-Tek, a subsidiary of Bray International, Inc. Assemblers safely, efficiently, and successfully complete mechanical assemblies of industrial valves, actuators, and accessories. This position is for our day shift and requires lifting up to 50 pounds as well as the ability to stand for long periods of time. Stand-up reach truck experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Safely, efficiently, and successfully complete mechanical assemblies of industrial valves, actuators, and accessories
- Follow instructions on sales orders and work orders
- Maintain a healthy and clean work environment
- Follow company safety production policies and procedures

Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or 5+ years of equivalent experience
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Adherence to safety policies and maintenance of a safe workstation
- Driven with a sense of responsibility and accountability
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for long hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Highly dependable and flexible
- Good communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate within a team environment
- Ability to read, speak, and write English and follow both written and verbal instructions
- Attention to detail and precision in work
- Available to work overtime hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Assembling and pressure-testing valves
- Interpreting electrical wiring diagrams
- Bending stainless steel and/or copper tubing
- Stand-up Reach Truck experience
- Computer knowledge
- Critical thinking skills
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Additional mandatory overtime may be required, extending shifts to 10–12 hours. Additional hours on Saturdays may also be required as needed.
