What You’ll Do
As an Assembly Support Associate, you’ll be responsible for:
- Perform basic value-added tasks following standard instructions, ensuring products are correctly marked and securely packaged for shipment
- Conduct initial quality checks under close supervision, inspecting for visible defects, proper labeling, and packaging integrity before moving products to the next stage
- Report any issues or deviations to leads or supervisors, such as mislabeled items, damaged packaging, or material shortages, providing clear observations for resolution
- Prepare materials with adhesives or bonding agents as directed, ensuring they are ready for use in value-added processes
- Utilize basic computer skills and access work orders as guided by supervisors
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation by arranging tools, materials and components neatly and ensuring easy access and compliance with workplace safety and efficiency standards
- Assist in sorting and organizing incoming materials, verifying quantities against documentation under close oversight
- Follow safety protocols by wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training to prevent workplace hazards
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided
- Previous assembly or production experience in the electronics industry preferred
- Eager to learn and follow instructions with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a structured environment
- Basic verbal communication skills to report issues and follow directives
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures under supervision
Special Requirements
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required
- ITAR Requirement 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements
