Assembly Quality Inspector - Second Shift

Temporary Second Shift position from September 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026 (6:30 PM – 5:00 AM).

Responsibilities

• Establish quality standards for products.
• Read blueprints and specifications to ensure operations meet production standards.
• Recommend adjustments and changes to production processes as needed.
• Inspect and test materials and equipment produced by ND Defense.
• Use measuring tools such as micrometer screw gauges to measure products.
• Remove products that don’t meet production standards and recommend strategies to improve product quality.
• Accept or reject finished products and discuss inspection results with the production team.
• Perform random inspections to assess product quality.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience with Assembly in an automotive, maintenance, or paint setting.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints, documents, and manuals.
• Knowledge of basic math and computer skills.

Essential Functions

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Work in extreme cold and hot temperatures.
• Squat, kneel, push, pull, and stand for long periods of time.
