Assembly Quality Inspector - Second Shift

Temporary Second Shift position from September 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026 (6:30 PM – 5:00 AM).
Responsibilities
- Establish quality standards for products.
- Read blueprints and specifications to ensure operations meet production standards.
- Recommend adjustments and changes to production processes as needed.
- Inspect and test materials and equipment produced by ND Defense.
- Use measuring tools such as micrometer screw gauges to measure products.
- Remove products that don’t meet production standards and recommend strategies to improve product quality.
- Accept or reject finished products and discuss inspection results with the production team.
- Perform random inspections to assess product quality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience with Assembly in an automotive, maintenance, or paint setting.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints, documents, and manuals.
- Knowledge of basic math and computer skills.
Essential Functions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Work in extreme cold and hot temperatures.
- Squat, kneel, push, pull, and stand for long periods of time.
