Assembly / Packaging Operator

Responsibilities

• Performs machine, assembly and packing operations with limited dimensional inspection to detect defects or equipment malfunction.
• Recognizes and identifies suspect and non-conforming parts.
• Affirms proper use of all appropriate safeguarding and safety features at all times.
• Efficiently and accurately reports inventory and labor data to maintain accurate and timely records.
• Performs various other duties from time to time required by the Supervisor and/or Production Manager.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent with appropriate relevant experience.
• This is a hands-on position requiring mechanical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• The work involves standing, bending, and repetitive motions.
• Lifting of up to 40 pounds is required, along with the ability to grip and use hand tools.
• Must have general knowledge of metal stamping equipment operation.
• Ability to complete required paperwork through basic reading and writing skills.
