Assembly Operator Temp, 1st Shift

This role is available for a temporary Assembly Operator position at Pentair in White Bear Lake, MN. The role involves weekend shifts and includes responsibilities such as setting up equipment, operating assigned equipment, inspecting machined features, adjusting machines, and changing tooling.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains equipment according to 5S practices and safety regulations
• Operates assigned equipment to meet production standards
• Inspects machined features to maintain quality
• Adjusts machine and changes tooling as needed
• Follows all safety regulations and policies
• Reviews shop operations packets, Bills-of-Materials, and engineering drawings to ensure correct materials
• Performs repetitive work and motions to meet hourly assembly targets

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in production with an emphasis on good manufacturing practices
• Both written and verbal communication skills in English
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting up to 40lbs, and lowering weights
• Steel-toed shoes are required on the distribution floor

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and mandatory overtime on Fridays from 5:00am – 1:00pm

Pay

The hourly pay for this role is $18.25/hour. There is an opportunity for a rate increase based on skill proficiency and completion of training. Actual pay may vary based on additional factors.

Schedule

First shift: 5:00am – 3:30pm, Monday – Thursday
Mandatory overtime on Friday: 5:00am – 1:00pm
