Assembly Operator - Stockroom/Kitting - 2nd Shift - 90 Day Increase Eligible

About the role

This position is responsible to receive all material, label, stock as required into inventory and deliver materials needing inspection to the incoming inspection area. Issues inventory into designated factory orders or fills ticket requests. Delivers factory orders to production staging area as required using company vehicles. Maintains cycle counts and shelf life inventory as required.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately receives all materials delivered to the stockroom
  • Distributes material to incoming inspection when required
  • Distributes inventory to correct stocking area
  • Distributes inventory into Factory Orders or fills ticket requests from manufacturing using the first in-first out procedure
  • Safely drives company box truck or other vehicle to deliver Factory Orders to the other building’s production staging areas and/or the manufacturing area as assigned
  • Completes all cycle counts as assigned
  • Maintains all shelf life materials
  • Maintains materials being stock returned from the production area
  • Maintains all ESD controls in the inventory and production areas
  • Maintains organization in the stockroom
  • Resolves problems as they arise
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area
  • Works effectively and responsibly with others
  • All other assigned duties as required within the Materials organization

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate in English language clearly both written and verbal
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
  • Ability to work in a team environment, assist other departments when workloads demand it, and effectively work with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to count accurately and use scales; must be able to use a calculator
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to be trained to drive box truck safely
  • Able to read and understand procedures

Pay

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position.

Export Statement

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to:

  • Being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents;
  • Recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation;
  • Understanding and following authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL);
  • Understanding the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US;
  • Managing vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
