Assembly Operator
Job Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and flat layouts to ensure accurate assembly of box cabinets, racks, and related components.
- Bend, fasten, and secure interlocking parts as part of the assembly process.
- Apply touch-up paint to finished cabinets as needed.
- Pack cabinets for shipment to ensure they are protected and ready for delivery.
- Move materials using hand trucks or fork trucks and complete required documentation and related paperwork.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of building skills, electrical, or mechanical background is a plus.
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Follow all workplace safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Dress code: long pants covered with steel-toed shoes, T-shirts, no tank tops, no drapery wear clothing with holes, rips, or tears.

- Standing, walking, sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, and grasping.
