Marathon Staffing is seeking reliable candidates for Assembler positions in Rowesville, SC.

About the role

Assemblers work with hand tools and lumber to build crates, pallets, and cement molds according to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Select the material to build product
• Safely use hand tools, including drills, nail guns, saws, hammers, measuring tape, vices, etc., to assemble product
• Measure product to ensure accurate size
• Band, bundle, and secure material
• Ensure correct quantities and material are strapped and labeled before leaving the work area
• Assist where needed in other work areas, moving material, loading and unloading material carts
• Perform other duties as required
• Assembly of scheduled products

Requirements

• Excellent attendance record
• Reliable transportation
• Building experience is a plus
• Ability to do simple math and read a tape measure
• Experience working with hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
• Strong work history
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to commute to Orangeburg, SC 29115 (preferred)
• Ability to relocate to Orangeburg, SC 29115 before starting work (preferred)

Schedule

• 1st shift: 7:00 AM – 4:45 PM, Monday–Friday
• 10-hour shift
• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift

Pay

$13 per hour
