Assembly Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple machines and perform basic machine repairs and pre-checks.
• Pull and move component parts from and to inventory.
• Tumble rubber grommets.
• Move and load metal components to machine hopper.
• Generate stock labels using a computer.
• Perform quality checks on products.
• Set up piece count scales and weigh finished goods.
• Complete machine production log sheets, relocation log sheets, and computer entries.
• Operate stand-up and fork trucks.
• Restart machines after downtime due to maintenance or part rejections, following test piece verifications and test log completion with no issues found.
• Contribute to team efforts by focusing on continuous improvement and success for the entire team.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the manager.
