Assembly Lead Operator- 3rd shift

Responsibilities

• Maintain an effective and efficient workforce by organizing and allocating team members based on production demands.
• Maintains a safe, clean and orderly workplace in compliance with all Vandor regulations including applicable local, state and federal laws.
• Ensure that all team members are working safely.
• Ensures conformity to production requirements with the authority to stop production to correct quality problems.
• Troubleshooting to ensure quality standards are met during production of molded parts.
• Ensure all materials are maintained for production.
• Operate Forklift safely.
• Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Must be a team player, able to work successfully with interdependent teams.
• Must be self-motivated, a “self‑starter”.
• Must be able to motivate others to achieve and maintain excellence.
• Must possess the analytical and problem-solving skills necessary to perform the job.
• Must have trouble shooting capabilities.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 75lbs.
• Operate Forklift safely.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma with additional relevant formal education or equivalent experience is required.
• Direct experience in production is preferred.
• At least three to five years of manufacturing experience is preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

3rd shift 11:00pm-7:30am Monday-Friday
