Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop in process routers.
- Transfer work instruction to alternate formats.
- Make adjustments to in process routers/work instructions that are found during all stages of the build process.
- Implement change requests to applicable paperwork when requested.
- Communicate with multiple departments to gather information on paperwork updates needed.
- All other duties as requested or assigned.
Qualifications
- Competent working with MS Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.) to include internet search capability, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
- Ability to read and comprehend cable drawings.
- Ability to read and comprehend specifications and standards.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Previous experience in cable/wire harness manufacturing industry.
Communication Skills
- Good oral and written communication skills, able to read, comprehend and create written and verbal instructions in the English language.
Working Conditions
- Working hours may fluctuate above and beyond established shift hours.
- Limited exposure to moderate noise levels may occur.
Physical Requirements
- This job requires standing and sitting for an extended period of time.
- Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects.
- Regularly see details of objects that are less than a few feet away.
- Frequently work on projects that require deadlines.
- Occasionally lift 5-10 pounds.
