Assembly - Chain Puller Operator 7am to 3pm

About the role

Laclede is seeking a motivated Assembly Support team member to join the Assembly Department. This is a training position where new hires will learn Laclede's high standards for product quality and develop skills in one of eight key support roles, starting with the Puller/Overhead area.

Responsibilities

• Measure and prepare chain to specified lengths using provided tools and job traveler instructions.
• Package chain products in drums, pails, reels, or cartons according to production guidelines.
• Operate industrial trucks and other equipment to move and load materials safely.
• Record production data accurately and enter information into our Epicor MES system.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable and punctual, with a solid work ethic.
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a production environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach overhead throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs (occasionally more).
• Work environment is non-climate controlled and can be loud.
• PPE is required and provided.
