About the Role

Skeeter Products, Inc., a leader in boat manufacturing, is seeking an individual with eagerness to learn and experience in production, carpentry, construction, or repair to join our team. This role involves performing various tasks to ensure the proper assembly and functionality of our high-performance Bass Fishing Boats.

Responsibilities

• Cut carpet, install livewells, tanks, wiring systems, electrical panels, instrumentation, lights, steering, trim, rails, seats, and doors.
• Cut fuel and water hoses, build trolling, distribution, and stereo harnesses per supplied drawings.
• Troubleshoot wiring systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Use tools such as utility knives, air-powered drills, screwdrivers, grinders, mini-saws, staplers, and pop rivet guns to install necessary parts.
• Follow detailed instructions and drawings to assemble wiring kits.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order.
• Promote and maintain 5S and TVP standards.
• Keep work area clean.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, pushing/pulling for 10+ hours a day.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in heat and around dust, chemicals, and fiberglass particles.
• Manual dexterity and good coordination.
• Experience using air-powered hand tools for extended periods.
• Good quality and attendance habits.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.
