About the role

We are looking for an assembler to work within our mailbox division. This is a full-time or part-time position with flexible hours and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble components of mailboxes
• Lift and relocate shipments manually and using pallet jacks
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements

• Ability to stay organized
• Safety management skills
• Focus on quality
• Experience with power tools
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
• Basic math skills using units of American weight measurement, volume, and distance
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand
• Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and climb or balance
• Occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
