Assembly Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join a leading organization in Carlisle, PA. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who wants to grow, learn, and evolve.

Responsibilities

• Picking parts and assembling orders according to customer requirements
• Reading work orders and shipping documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped
• Moving items from bulk containers, racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence (size, type, style, color, product code)
• Filling requisitions and placing stock items in designated areas
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards
• Scanning materials and moving them according to standard work instructions
• Accurately tracking and counting of inventory, including physical counts
• Performing facilities maintenance duties such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, and general organization
• Completing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• Computer literacy, with experience using WMS warehouse management systems
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a diverse team
• Flexible and willing to work overtime or varying shifts as needed
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Accurate mathematical calculations
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform tasks such as stooping, kneeling, and climbing stairs
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Commitment to following environmental, health, and safety standards

Pay

$17.30–$19.25 per hour

Schedule

Flexible able to work overtime or varying shifts as required to support the demands of the business
