About the Role

Assembly Operator is guided by assembly instructions and assembles parts in jigs using fastening hardware and air-powered hand tools. The operator is required to inspect products for quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental procedures.
• Come to work every day, on time as scheduled.
• Demonstrate proficient communication skills.
• Accurately read and use quality tools to ensure quality parts.
• Compare parts to work instructions to ensure they meet standards and specifications to verify product quality.
• Use a computer to enter part information/inventory in the ERP system.
• Apply knowledge of various fixtures and jigs.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance, repair, and setup to keep equipment running smoothly and reduce downtime.
• Examine parts during the production process.
• Execute scheduling board tasks.
• Use a motorized walking stacker.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to use quality inspection equipment.
• Proficient and basic math and computer skills.
