About the role

Responsibilities
- Built various sized wood crates while safely using power tools such as nail and staple guns, power drills, grinders, and hammers
- Logged in and out of jobs in the Ops Center to track jobs and follow production schedules
- Followed safety and personal protective equipment requirements
- Used a 20 pound, 3.5-inch nail gun while crouching and/or kneeling to assemble bases or skids for crates on the ground
- Able to read, interpret, find, and document possible cut sheets and/or stenciling errors
- Used adhesives to apply foam to wood crates and conducted specification checks
- Performed work according to standard operating procedures
- Followed all procedures, policies, and understood equipment use before use
- Reported equipment defects and/or maintenance needs to their supervisor
Requirements
- Required 3 months of experience in carpentry, construction, and/or landscaping
- Basic computer skills to use Ops Center to log in & out of jobs with employee ID number
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
- Forklift experience is preferred
Skills
- Strong teamwork skills
- Ability to safely use power tools
- Read, interpret, find, and document cut sheets and/or stenciling errors
- Use of adhesives to apply foam to wood crates
- Efficient work performance according to standard operating procedures
- Understanding of equipment use and safety protocols
