About the Role

The Assembler Tester B assembles, tears down, and tests mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and top assemblies for aerospace products. This role ensures proper tooling, documentation, and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly, teardown, and testing of mechanical and electromechanical components with minimal supervision.
  • Organize data, prepare test reports, and conduct visual inspections to identify defects.
  • Utilize hand tools, test equipment, and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Assist in process improvements, material preparation, and cross-training when needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment, adhere to safety regulations, and ensure tooling calibration.
  • Support final acceptance testing and troubleshooting of assemblies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in assembly and testing within aerospace, military, or manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, inspection gauges, and test equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics; troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must reside within 50 miles of the facility and be a U.S. person for export compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with precision and safety in a manufacturing setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Electrostatic discharge certification.
  • Soldering experience.
  • Technical degree or FAA experience.
  • Related certifications.
