About the Role
The Assembler Tester B assembles, tears down, and tests mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and top assemblies for aerospace products. This role ensures proper tooling, documentation, and adherence to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly, teardown, and testing of mechanical and electromechanical components with minimal supervision.
- Organize data, prepare test reports, and conduct visual inspections to identify defects.
- Utilize hand tools, test equipment, and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Assist in process improvements, material preparation, and cross-training when needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment, adhere to safety regulations, and ensure tooling calibration.
- Support final acceptance testing and troubleshooting of assemblies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience in assembly and testing within aerospace, military, or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency with hand tools, inspection gauges, and test equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics; troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must reside within 50 miles of the facility and be a U.S. person for export compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to work with precision and safety in a manufacturing setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrostatic discharge certification.
- Soldering experience.
- Technical degree or FAA experience.
- Related certifications.
