The Assembly/Test Technician position is located in Dixon, IL.

Responsibilities

• Testing and operation of Aerospace Hydraulic components, Electrical assemblies, and products, applying knowledge of mechanical components, electrical systems, hydraulics, and hydraulic manifold assemblies.
• Record and analyze test data to determine if the product meets the Acceptance Test Requirements.
• Coordinate and participate in installing the unit or system to be tested in test fixtures, connecting valves, pumps, hydraulic, mechanical, or electrical controls, cabling, tubing, power source, and indicating instruments to determine compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years of experience working in a test technician role in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Skills

• Mechanical/Electrical knowledge, hydraulic experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Self‑starter motivated by completion of objectives tied directly to company goals.
• Strong attention to detail, decision‑making skills, and problem‑solving ability.
• Demonstrated ability to learn, understand, and uphold Customer and Company requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AS9100 or related Aerospace working environment (preferred).
• Experience in complex parts and production operations.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $24.83. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, and performance. This position is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth.

Schedule

This is a 2nd shift position, Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm to 12:00 am.
