Assembler Temp to Perm (60902)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work production orders, specifications, blueprints, diagrams, written and verbal instructions, and standardized methods to assemble electronic components and devices, including circuit boards.
• Have excellent attendance, safety, and work record.
• Ensure 5S to ensure cleanliness and part presentation.
• Monitor Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) adherence.
• Monitor safety equipment and tools.
• Report issues to responsible parties.

Quality

• Perform duties in accordance with the current Quality and Safety Management System.
• Work with Engineering / R&D to create new assemblies, as requested.
• Disseminate quality alerts to responsible parties.

Delivery

• Check order for options; visually check parts and materials.
• Position, secure, mount, fit, and install assemblies as prescribed.
• Perform operations to product specification requirements.
• Use of various tools, measuring devices, and electronic meters for adherence to specifications.
• Check installed parts for proper fit and alignment, proper positioning, and correct electrical specifications.
• Exercise proper care in the use and storage of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Detect and report faulty equipment, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision.

Qualifications & Working Conditions

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1-3 years.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Blueprint reading.
• Position, secure, mount, fit, and install assemblies as prescribed.
• Use of various tools, measuring devices, and electronic meters for adherence to specifications.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime.
