Assembler - Riser Assembly, 2nd Shift

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Review work assignments, paperwork, and other documentation/directions to facilitate the best planning of time and activity for the shift
• Performs manufacturing processes assigned according to established policies, procedures, and standards of the area
• Checks completed work for conformance with specifications, noting and forwarding Defective Material Report (DMR) data for decision and action by others
• Established quality and quantity standards are consistently met or exceeded, resulting in minimal downtime and/or rework
• Confers with Manager or department Lead to share information, observations, and recommendations for improvements in processes which might increase overall results within established quality standards
• Maintain the assigned area in a clean, orderly condition to minimize safety hazards and lost-time accidents
• Contributes to a cooperative work effort through performance of assigned duties in an accurate and timely manner
• Provides general guidance and assistance for trainees in a manner which contributes to their development and overall results being achieved

Qualifications

• English proficiency is required for this manufacturing position to ensure safety compliance and fulfillment of operational needs
• The candidate must be able to speak, read and understand English in order to follow equipment instructions, understand safety protocols and respond to emergency situations
• Strong English skills are also necessary for communicating with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth production processes and to maintain quality standards
