Responsibilities
- Assemble electro-mechanical nitrogen systems, components, and subassemblies according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Perform mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, tubing, and pneumatic connections.
- Install and route wiring harnesses, sensors, switches, relays, and control components.
- Conduct functional testing, purity, leak testing, and troubleshooting of assembled systems.
- Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
- Identify and communicate assembly or quality issues to leadership and engineering teams.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation.
Requirements
- Safely and effectively utilize hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, self-tapping wrenches and power tools (air drivers torqued between 3 - 55 in/lbs.).
- Repetitive movement of parts (1-10 lbs./part) and team lift parts over 25 lbs.
- Packaging operations include packaging parts into cartons and taping boxes using auto tape dispensers and large crates.
- Movement of pallets containing completed parts using a pallet jack. (pallets weigh between 42-900 lbs.).
- Some operations require computer entries and must be accurate.
- Must be able to take constructive criticism/feedback.
- Assembly workers are also required to rotate from job to job occasionally.
- Maintain clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
