Assembler II - Panel Worker

Summary Plans

• Installs, repairs wiring, apparatus, and control equipment.
• Fulfills duties as per diagrams or blueprints.
• Measures, cuts, bends, assembles, and installs electrical conduit.
• Straips installation from terminal leads and solder wires together.
• Connects wiring to panel boxes.
• Installs and connects power cables and grounding leads to equipment.
• Wires standard, medium, and complex panels.
• Installs probes and transducers.
• Wires transformers, tie-in compressor panels, wire defrost, wire lights, receptacles, fire stats, and t-state tests circuit continuity.
• Performs hard wire testing.
• Trains Panel Worker I.
• Ensures OJT training documents are updated.
• Performs OJT training of newly hired associates.
• Works closely with and assists in associate development and continuous improvement (e.g., Basic Lean).

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Three to six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is preferred.
