Assembler II - (FT, Contractor)

The Assembler II (contractor) position at HyAxiom is a key role within the production team. This position involves fabricating and assembling components that are crucial to the manufacturing process. Collaboration with engineering and production teams is essential to improving assembly methods and enhancing efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently assemble components to meet production standards.
• Follow standardized processes to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineers and Assembly teams to improve assembly methods and efficiency.
• Handle delicate components and work with chemicals such as phosphoric acid.
• Follow company policy in using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Complete and maintain accurate production documentation, including OEE sheets and safety checklists.
• Support cross-training and assist in other production duties as needed.
• Assist in the reclaim process of tearing down older products returned from the field.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production setting.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and handle specialized materials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of assembly methods and best practices.
• Experience with reading operational sheets and work instructions.
• Experience in a production environment preferred.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Lifting to 35 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
