About the Role
Responsible for assembling, testing, and packaging electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and finished products, ensuring patient safety and product quality in compliance with quality policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electro-mechanical products using hand tools, soldering irons, adhesives, and microscopes if needed.
- Operate computerized testing and calibration equipment on assembled components.
- Perform visual and functional inspection of components such as printed circuit boards and precision parts.
- Manually package products into appropriate packaging.
- Maintain stock levels and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Work in a production environment with frequent use of automated test equipment.
- Use of personal protective equipment such as eye and hand protection; occasional hearing protection.
- Majority of time spent standing or sitting, with occasional stooping, bending, reaching, and pulling.
- Frequent lifting up to 20 lbs, occasional lifting up to 40 lbs, with repetitive motion tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of assembly or electronics experience.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
