Assembler II
About the role
On a production basis, performs precision mechanical assembly work, which is typically of high complexity and/or requires fitting, alignment, and the adjustment of components, units, and assemblies to very close tolerances. Assemblers integrate next-level assembly work on machined/fabricated aerospace parts at a floor station. Assembles fabricated parts at a floor station using and/or performing: riveting, cold working, nut plates, bearings, bushings, cold bonding, fabricating, and installing shims, sealing, bucking/squeezing rivets and grounding blocks for integrated next-level assemblies. Assembler’s tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Assemblers also ensure conformance to established procedures and quality level of Cadence site location Engineering and Quality Policy and conformance to Customer Engineering and Specifications and safe work habits.
Responsibilities
