About the role
As a Production Associate under the direction of the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the assembly of high-quality Architectural Systems (Standard, Adaptive, and/or Lighting).
Responsibilities
- Perform transactions in Shop-Trak; providing updates status on projects, material moves, and scrap for all assembly & packing operations.
- Collect parts and supplies for assembly and packing processes; conduct Inventory of tools, parts, and supplies and resupply as needed.
- Uses various hand tooling while performing assembly and packing operations efficiently IAW quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Works with peers to Identify product defects and report necessary nonconformances to Senior Production Associate, Supervisor, and/or Quality Inspector.
- Works with peers to perform reworks/repairs IAW industry best practices and/or engineering instructions.
- Works with peers to coordinate movement assembled parts and/or products to the next step operation.
- Prepare, Assemble, Package, and Label completed projects for shipping.
- Unload, receive, and store raw materials and supplies.
- Completes work as required to meet production and schedule requirements.
- Follows safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment as required.
- Maintains equipment and work areas; cleans and performs basic repairs as needed.
Qualifications
- Possess basic arithmetic skills.
- Possess knowledge of personal computers skills.
- Communication and people skills; team player willing to learn.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (i.e., ability to wear required PPE, work in a dusty, hot, non-climate-controlled environment; with stairs, frequent walking, standing and occasional lifting of material).
- Ability to work off shift hours in support of plant initiatives.
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in core production roles within 90 days of hire.

Pay
The estimated base salary range for this role is $20.00 per hour. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors.
