Pay

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $22.55 plus shift differential and benefits. Base pay varies within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Schedule

2nd Shift: 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM, Monday – Thursday

Work Location: 1120 Industrial Ave, North Platte, NE

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned production line following SOP for specific job assignments
• Measure, cut, and assemble door units
• Assist with manual labor tasks as needed
• Verify materials by reading the bill of materials and ensure they meet quality expectations
• Palletize, wrap, and label units as needed
• Assemble fabricated parts into subassemblies and complete units
• Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
• Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions
• Ensure components are placed correctly per SOP
• Repeat tasks until the entire door stack is complete
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Clean up work area at the end of the shift
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Familiarity with machinery and good math and measurement skills
• Knowledge of proper door sizes and ability to identify reject doors
• Ability to read and write English
• Good attendance and safety records
• Demonstrated teamwork abilities
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• High attention to detail

• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work accurately, thoroughly, and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated and highly alert at all times

Physical Requirements

• Stand for 10–12 hours straight
• Perform repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting)
• Lift, push, and pull up to 60 pounds
• Withstand exposure to temperature extremes and uncomfortable noise levels
