About the role
We are seeking an Assembler Trainee to support our North American Hydro division in York, PA. In this position, you will work on unique one-off mechanical assemblies for some of the largest hydroelectric machines in the world. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude to learn and be familiar with both hand tools and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform major mechanical assembly and testing using established techniques and procedures.
- Conduct minor assembly tasks such as valves, sub-assemblies, bearings, and other components.
- Utilize all assembly tools effectively.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic abilities in major mechanical assembly and testing techniques.
- Experience or familiarity with minor assembly tasks (e.g., valves, sub-assemblies, bearings).
- Knowledge in the use of all assembly tools.

Pay
$27.58/hour with shift differentials of $2.50/hour for off-shifts.
