Assembler

Job Description

Utilize bill of material, written or verbal instructions to assemble or re-work x-ray source components and high voltage generators.

Work from schematics or assembly drawings to modify subassemblies, as required.

Prepare completed products for shipment.

Follow all VJX and OSHA workplace safety requirements and policies.

Essential Skills

• High School Diploma
• General understanding of electronic assembly procedures
• Understanding of ESD practices
• Ability to read and work from electrical prints
• Proficiency in circuit boards and soldering
• Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment
• Minimum two (2) years manufacturing or assembly experience
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must successfully pass a personal background check and drug screenings

Non-Essential Skills

• Minimum two (2) years of full-time experience with proven reliability, preferably in a technical, manufacturing or research and development environment
• Experience in safe work environments and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
• Prior experience soldering through-hole and SMT components
• Ability to use a multi-meter to test and troubleshoot AC/DC circuits

Safety Sensitive Position

Safety is a top priority at VJ X-Ray LLC. Regularly required to sit, walk, bend, stoop and stand within an industrial environment.

Will need to repeatedly use hands & fingers to operate basic office equipment and operate hand and power tools standard to a production environment.
