About the role

Triosim, a precision-focused company based in Middletown, OH, is seeking an experienced Assembler/Industrial Gearbox Repair Specialist. This role requires a hands-on approach to assembling, aligning, and fitting components to ensure high-quality repairs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, align, and fit components for industrial gearboxes according to technical drawings, repair specifications, and tolerances.
• Inspect, clean, and prepare parts for assembly, ensuring quality from the start.
• Use precision tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, and torque wrenches to verify accuracy at each stage.
• Apply proper lubrication, sealing, and fastening techniques to ensure lasting repairs.
• Collaborate with machinists, technicians, and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve assembly challenges.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to shop safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical assembly experience, particularly in industrial equipment, gearboxes, or rotating machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and repair manuals.
• Comfort with precision measuring instruments and hand/power tools.
• A problem-solving mindset and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physical capability to handle and move heavy components safely.
• A collaborative spirit willing to share knowledge and continuously learn.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in industrial assembly or repair.
• Valid driver’s license required.
