About the Role

In this role, you will assemble, test, and pack components for various makes and models of electric heaters and elements. You will uphold all safety and production standards while performing duties as assigned within our Electric Heat business, a trusted leader in electric heating and ventilation solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.

Backed by the strength of ASPEQ Heating Group and Marley Engineered Products, we offer a wide range of standard and customized products through leading brands like QMark, Indeeco, Berko, and Brasch. Our portfolio includes baseboard, wall, unit, and infrared heaters, along with ceiling fans and air circulators—designed to deliver comfort, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe work habits and maintain housekeeping of assigned work areas.
  • Produce subassemblies using air or electric hand tools, box stitcher, wire stripper, wire cutters, test equipment, and other miscellaneous tools.
  • Perform visual inspections of parts for defects or damage.
  • Scrap or repair returned goods as needed.
  • Test and pack heaters according to production standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Assembly Specialist, Supervisor, or Manager.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Proficiency in basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and fractions.
  • Ability to use formulas, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, wiring diagrams, and adjustable measuring instruments.
  • Capability to understand and perform administrative duties related to the job.
  • Use of judgment to plan, perform, and make decisions regarding the sequence of setups, operations, and processes within standard methods and procedures.
  • Moderate physical effort, including frequently lifting or moving materials up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One to two years of related experience.
