About the role

Assemble electro‑mechanical assemblies per specifications, with quality as a priority. The position requires flexibility, as staff may be asked to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the company’s mission and goals.

Responsibilities

• Read, comprehend, interpret, and follow basic work instructions, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions.
• Follow established procedures to accurately assemble products.
• Assemble components by mechanically fastening parts and sub‑assemblies.
• Perform mechanical‑type assembly using hand tools and power tools.
• Work with various sized materials, from heavy parts to small intricate parts.
• Identify product defects and report them to appropriate personnel.
• Keep accurate records and logs.
• Handle ESD‑sensitive materials and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Lift up to 20 lb unassisted; lift up to 50 lb with assistance if required.
• Stand for a regular 8‑hour work shift.

Education and Experience

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, battery‑ and pneumatic‑operated tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods and safely lift required weights.
• Basic computer skills (email, work instructions).
• Attention to detail.
• Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
