Assembler

Responsibilities

• Utilize a wide range of hand and power tools, along with electrical and mechanical fixtures and gauges, to perform precision assembly tasks.
• Operate standard measuring and test equipment such as dial indicators, micrometers, and voltmeters.
• Work with drills, jigs, fixtures, and light materials to support production activities.
• Precision soldering of electronic and mechanical components as required.
• Inspect and test your own work to ensure it meets established specifications and quality standards.
• Verify and review the work of others for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform a variety of mechanical, optical, and electrical/electronic operations.
• Follow detailed work instructions, safety protocols, and production procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 3 years electronics assembly experience or equivalent with soldering experience on printed circuit boards
• Soldering/de-soldering/reworking assemblies/SMT experience
• IPC-610 & JStandard 001 (preferred)
• Ability to read and follow directions with heavy attention to detail
• Able to use ERP system to complete tasks as required
• Able to read color coded Process Details
• Able to utilize Microsoft Programs
