Assembler

We’re seeking a Light Assembly Worker to join a premier manufacturing client in Eagleville, PA.

Pay

$17.00–$17.85 per hour

Schedule

• 1st shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
• 2nd shift: 3:30 pm to 12:00 am

Responsibilities

• Perform cellular assembly operations by following specific written and verbal instructions, as well as point-of-use pictures.
• Align and mechanically assemble parts into housings or PC Boards, install components, route and attach wires, and replace defective components.
• Conduct basic hand soldering operations and use hand/power tools to assemble products.
• Complete production records, logs, and report forms accurately.
• Work under the guidance of a Cell Leader, rotate through work cells, and perform visual self-inspection of completed work.
• Maintain a neat, orderly work area and adhere to all safety and quality practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education/experience (one to three months related experience preferred).
• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow multiple-step instructions.
• Can use hand tools, soldering irons, and simple power tools, with a basic understanding of mechanics and assembly instructions.
• Able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs frequently (and up to 50 lbs occasionally), and work in a moderate-noise environment.
