About the role
Join a team that builds some of the world's most advanced electronics for the aerospace and defense industry. As an Assembler, you will support the production of high-quality electromechanical assemblies in a clean-room environment while contributing to products that help protect those who protect us.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, disassemble, and modify production subassemblies according to established work plans and instructions.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and production requirements.
- Accurately enter information into MRP and data-collection systems.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and consistently produce high-quality work.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Learn new processes and adapt to changing technologies and production requirements.
Qualifications
- At least two years of high school or trade school education.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new processes and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assembling electromechanical or electronic products.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or clean-room environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and work instructions.
- Manual soldering experience.
- Familiarity with solder reflow ovens, pick-and-place equipment, and automated inspection systems.
- IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD certification is a plus.
Schedule
- First shift: Monday-Thursday
- Four 10-hour shifts
- Typical hours: 5:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Compensation
Up to $27.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
