Responsibilities

  • Use required pneumatic/hand tools to assemble product per Company and customer specifications.
  • Understand associated parts and their relationship to the end product.
  • Facilitate all aspects of the assembly process.
  • Organize all aspects of the assembly process.
  • Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
  • Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed.
  • Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
  • Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
  • Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.
  • Interact with technical support personnel and support downtime activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, including participating in safety training sessions and promptly reporting safety concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Coordinator.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior production assembly experience, 1–2 years preferred.
  • Ability to interpret production schedules and build specifications.
  • Ability to work overtime as production demands require.
  • Must be able to utilize torque wrenches according to specifications.
  • Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug-free throughout employment.
  • Must follow all safety practices and policies.

Physical Demands

  • Constant: standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, simple grasp.
  • Frequent: firm grasping, fine manipulation, pitching, forward bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing.
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

Environmental Conditions

  • Work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility.
  • Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection.
