Responsibilities
- Use required pneumatic/hand tools to assemble product per Company and customer specifications.
- Understand associated parts and their relationship to the end product.
- Facilitate all aspects of the assembly process.
- Organize all aspects of the assembly process.
- Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
- Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed.
- Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
- Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
- Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.
- Interact with technical support personnel and support downtime activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, including participating in safety training sessions and promptly reporting safety concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Coordinator.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Prior production assembly experience, 1–2 years preferred.
- Ability to interpret production schedules and build specifications.
- Ability to work overtime as production demands require.
- Must be able to utilize torque wrenches according to specifications.
- Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug-free throughout employment.
- Must follow all safety practices and policies.
Physical Demands
- Constant: standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, simple grasp.
- Frequent: firm grasping, fine manipulation, pitching, forward bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing.
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
Environmental Conditions
- Work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility.
- Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection.
