Responsibilities
- Assemble and calibrate machinery using standardized work instructions, engineering drawings, and diagrams.
- Perform end-of-line testing to ensure products meet quality standards before shipment.
- Follow safety guidelines and contribute to a safe, respectful work environment.
- Complete and manage work orders, ensuring accurate inventory tracking of finished goods.
- Inspect components for quality and identify defects related to fit, form, or function.
- Reject and formally document all nonconforming material following Buehler's internal reject tag process.
- Work within a team environment to execute weekly production schedules efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare all required packing materials and package finished goods.
- Perform basic troubleshooting steps to diagnose issues with machinery being built on the line.
- Escalate complex quality concerns or machinery malfunctions to supervisor or engineering support groups.
- Follow the Kanban card process for material replenishment.
- Follow 5S standards by maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or postsecondary technical certificates/associate degree preferred.
- 1 year of mechanical assembly experience with an understanding of basic hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches).
- Strong communication skills with an attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge for diagnosing mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Baseline awareness of lean manufacturing systems and processes preferred.
- Basic computer skills such as emailing, record keeping, inventory management, and form filing.
- Ability to occasionally lift between 5 lbs–50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time.

Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay
The hourly rate offered for this position is $20.00–$23.00.
