Responsibilities

• Meter Assembly
  • Perform assembly, leak testing, meter testing, and packaging of meter products while following safety guidelines.
  • Follow work instructions to ensure the highest quality, meeting product standards, production goals, and customer specifications.
  • Set up and operate meter accuracy and leak test equipment to determine product acceptability.
  • Use computer systems to check schedules, obtain part drawings, set up work procedures, and update manufacturing status.
  • Work from dispatch lists or production schedules to achieve required daily output.
• Registration Assembly
  • Perform varied register assembly, sub‑assembly, and test operations on electro‑mechanical units.
  • Fit and assemble PC‑board assemblies and register sub‑assemblies into housing for specialty registration devices.
  • Follow simple assembly drawings, routings, and standard procedures.
  • Use equipment such as a small arbor press, screwdriver, nut driver, hand soldering iron, ultrasonic welder, and computer‑run test equipment.
  • Test assembled registers for proper function and accuracy.
  • Assemble cartons and package registers/generators for distribution according to customer specifications.

Requirements

• High School Degree/GED preferred.
• 0–1 years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to pass internal forklift and hazmat training.
• Basic proficiency with computers.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English (preferred).

Working Conditions

• Manufacturing environment with air‑conditioned facility.
• Must wear personal protective gear for most of the day.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
• Must be able to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
• Must pass an audiogram test.
