Responsibilities

• Assemble products/parts using hand tools or power tools while performing quality checks to ensure the final product meets specifications
• Weigh and label packages
• Inspect materials to ensure there is no damage
• Produce daily schedule targets to meet productivity
• Create labels for finished goods and production reporting
• Use a variety of hand tools and power equipment
• Stage material to the schedule to meet customer demand
• Work in partnership with the Quality Department to verify materials meet industry standards
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure quality standards and specifications are adhered to
• Perform changeovers on the automated machine, including diameter and lengths
• Maintain lot integrity through the assembly process
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment
• Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized

Skills

• Ability to read job tags and understand processing steps
• Effective communication with others
• Ability to operate a powered industrial truck
• Proficiency with basic hand and power tools
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Basic math and measurement skills

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in a distribution center environment
• Standing for long periods of time is required
• Lifting up to 50+ pounds on occasion
• Must be willing and available to work overtime, as needed
