Job Summary

Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or subassemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Responsibilities And Essential Functions

  • Performs repetitive assembly of pre-engineered electro-mechanical equipment control modules.
  • Works from hard copy and electronic assembly documentation and instructions, following established sequencing of hardware and wiring installations using predefined tools and fixtures.
  • Provides manufacturing order support including engraving, labels, and reports.
  • Handles heavy gauge electrical wiring and plumbing routing and assembly in repetitive product manufacturing.
  • Evaluates unique assembly and disassembly requirements and prepares an approach based upon safe work practices.
  • Cleans modules, restores painted surfaces, and performs general preparation prior to product shipment.
  • Takes direction from manufacturing team leads in assigned workstations, follows instructions provided by a Tester to perform rework of product test anomalies.
  • Works with continuous leadership in a production environment, adhering to the highest standards in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, procedures, policies, and metrics.
