Assembler 2, General

Responsibilities

• Performs fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices.
• Operates and troubleshoots equipment as needed.
• Conducts quality inspections on processing line according to quality specifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Effective communication skills to understand co-workers and supervisors.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications in English.
• Basic math calculations ability.
• Use of basic tools of measurement, including microscopes.
• Able to work flexible and/or extended hours.
• Able to report to work on a regular, punctual basis.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with others and in a team environment.
• Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.

Physical Demands

• Regularly stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Occasionally lift or move at least 50 pounds.
