About the role
Spectrum Control is a leading provider of advanced, high-reliability electronics and semiconductor solutions supporting aerospace, defense, and other mission-critical applications. We are seeking a detail-oriented part-time Assembler to join our manufacturing team and help build precision components that make a real impact.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow assembly procedures, mechanical drawings, part lists, and work instructions.
- Use basic electronic measurement devices, manufacturing tools, assembly fixtures, and hand tools.
- Assemble and test basic products to meet specifications and strict quality standards.
- Work with small, delicate components using tools and fixtures designed to prevent damage and ensure repeatability.
- Follow established budgets and production timelines to complete assigned work on schedule.
- Maintain an organized, safe work area and support team-based continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 0–2 years of assembly experience (electronic/electromechanical preferred).
- Technical Experience:
- Soldering small components
- Working with a hot plate for bonding or component prep
- Using a microscope to assemble RF products and inspect once completed
